FIND A COACH
I learned to be a Professional Caregiver Coach when I understood that I am a Caregiver. About a year ago, my mother was 96 years old and had a paid Caregiver, but there were a lot of things we, as her family, had to take care of. In the last few years, my partner is undergoing a slow process of losing part of her capabilities, as a consequence of a rare degenerative illness, APBD. I was literally thrown into this job, without any preparation. Today I hope nobody goes into Caregiving without someone to accompany, talk to, as well a guide, and prepare for the future.
I am also a Master Coach MCIL, credited Coach’s Supervisor, and professional ADHD Coach and Supervisor. I love using in my sessions different techniques from the field of coaching, psychology, focusing, gestalt, to help you use emotions, knowledge, feelings in analyzing situations.
I also speak Portuguese, French, and Spanish.
